the CRA ceased transferring info from corporations annual returns to the Ontario corporate registry.

Ontario's new Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (ONCA) is in force and the Ontario Business Registry was launched. ONCA introduces a statutory duty of care for Directors which requires them to exercise reasonable care, diligence and skill.

These are tasks that absolutely must be completed or there are serious potential consequences like loss of corporate or charitable status, fines of up to $25,000 and potential personal liability.
